How many times did you hear of entrepreneurs succeeding because of hard work and perseverance?

How many times did you hear of entrepreneurs failing because they refused to give up on a bad idea?

Unsuccessful entrepreneurs – even though they’re maybe… 10, 15 or 20 for every truly successful entrepreneurs – get very little visibility and air time.

We always hear about perseverance being a good thing but, to me, perseverance is only good if it’s invested in something good.

Some companies will never work, some projects will never be worth your time and some relationships just aren’t good for you. It’s part of the gamble; you only find out after if being persistent was the thing to do.

Next time things go bad and you push forward, ask yourself why you’re being so stubborn. Perseverance can easily turn into stupidity if your ego leads the way…
